Business Characteristics
1. The main business is the production, procurement, delivery and distribution of
electricity to the public, businesses, and industries in a distribution area of 74 provinces nationwide,

except for Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan. PEA has an area of responsibility covering 74
provinces or 510,000 square meters or 99 percent of the country with 18.89 million power users
2. Seven related businesses consist of construction, power systems, leases, power
system repairs and maintenance, inspection, testing and analysis of power systems, personnel
training and development, consultation and power system design, and other works.

Business Characteristics of Network Companies

PEA ENCOM International Co., Ltd.
PEA ENCOM International Co., Ltd. was founded by the resolution of the Council of
Ministers dated June 3, 2009 to engage in the business of domestic and overseas investment in
electrical power and power system training. The company was registered as a limited company
on October 14, 2009 with a registered start-up capital of 100 million baht. PEA ENCOM International

Co., Ltd. currently has 557.283 million baht in registered capital and PEA has a 100 percent
share holding.
